Accessibility Statement

We want this site to work well for everyone, whatever device or assistive technology you use. Here's where we stand, and how to tell us when we fall short.

Our commitment

Stef's Time is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, or browser zoom. Accessibility is not a box we tick once; it is something we keep working at.

What we've done

  • Semantic, structured HTML so screen readers can understand headings, lists, links, and landmarks.
  • Keyboard navigation for the interactive parts of the site, so a mouse isn't required.
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences. If your device is set to reduce motion, our animations quieten down automatically.
  • Readable colour contrast and text that scales when you zoom, without breaking the layout.
  • A responsive design that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops.
  • Descriptive text for meaningful images and clear labels on buttons and controls.

The standard we aim for

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as our benchmark. We aim to meet it across the site and to keep improving where we currently fall short.

Known limitations

We're honest about the gaps. Some third-party or decorative elements, and some older content, may not yet fully meet our target. Where a decorative animation or effect isn't essential, we make sure it can be ignored by assistive technology. We're working through the rest over time.
